Dear Depression

Depression do not be gleeful,
with your ways of pulling people down into your hard, bony clutches. You think you have all the power to attack those who are down and hurting, to bring bleakness and despair to their world. To make them completely immobile, to cut off all light and bring hopelessness.
But I am here to tell you that you have not and will not win.
The Light has always shone through,
Breaking through your dark gloom.
A hand reaches out to rescue the people, a scarred hand, but strong. That hand has lifted us up again from the place you have beaten us down to, those arms attached to the hand have carried us out of your miseries, so that when we could not run from you, HE carried us.
The man-deity attached to the hand and arms have shown us that in every situation, no matter how bleak or terrible it seems,
no matter if friends betray us,
people hurt us,
and all kinds of evil things are done against us, that
 He
will
be
 there.
So, depression, you have not won.
You are not that strong.
Compared to the strong, loving arms of the one who carries me you are weak indeed.
And one day you will be banished forever, and we will live with the one who has carried us forever and ever.

You are LOVED. You are here for a reason.
You are precious to God.
Don't give up.
Keep fighting.
There is Hope.
There is freedom
In Jesus.
You are dearly loved, you have a purpose.
Your life is worth it.

Each day is a gift.
Give someone a hug today,
tell someone how much you love them.

How can I pray for you today?

Love you all!
